Just a few weeks ago, the Runkeeper community came out for the 2nd edition of the Global 5K. We were thrilled to see almost 50% more runners on the road this time around, tracking more than 1 million kilometers.

Now’s the time for us to take a deeper look at all of the stats that came out of it, including fastest countries, total calories burned, and number of first-time 5K runners. A lot changed, but a lot stayed the same, this time around.

Spoiler: it’s a whole new crowd of fastest countries (sorry Netherlands!). But iPhone runners yet again clocked faster times than those with Androids.  Take a look at the infographic below for the full breakdown. (Click here to open it in a new tab and click to zoom in)
