legs were tired after the 7 mile run on monday. top of my right foot began hurting quickly and got pretty bad around 2.5 miles. going to let it rest for a couple days

Sorry to hear about your foot. Let it rest and see what happens. I told Nikki last night that we can always go to the park the morning of her shower and run there instead of the race.

sounds like a plan to me! i am actually due on my schedule to hit 10 miles that monday. my foot issue will put me back a bit, but i am going to ride the bike and row at the gym to keep my endurance up while i rest the foot. it freakin' hurts! like knee buckling... but i think some time off will do it well.
