Jeremy Pridmore Completed a 4.01 mi. running activity
Ran anti clockwise. It was quite hot. I had to stop and take my tshirt off once, but thought better of it before running through the village so put it back on :)

Not sure how long it took as I forgot to time it. Must have been talking a the time and not paying attention! :) This was a long warm up before the track session.

Jeremy Pridmore Completed a 3.15 mi. running activity
Quick run after my race yesterday. Why is it I can't seem to go out for a slow "recovery" run. I always end up trying to beat the time I ran the route in last time. Perhaps I should just follow a new random route for my next recovery run :)

Jeremy Pridmore  Wow, I am improving; the proof is right here. I thought to myself when I finished that I hadn't gone that fast and I was sure I had previously done a sub 20 minute on this route at 6:25. I don't know where that thought came from, but I beat my fastest time by more than a minute. I ran my 1st "lunchtime run" on this route 14 months ago and I've managed to bring my pace down from 8:15/mi to 6:33/mi. I don't know if I'll be able to bring it down any more though. Surely I can't do a 6:15/mi?
Jeremy Pridmore Completed a 6.12 mi. running activity
Really good event. Very well marshalled and I liked the course as well. It was quite uphill for the first half, and I'm sure there were a couple of hills on the second half (where did they come from?). I started at the front and held 3rd behind 2 Canterbury guys for the first 2k, then slipped about 7 places up to Tunstall. I lost another 3 places up to Bredgar, then swapped between 11th, 12th and 13th a couple of times on the home leg. I managed to maintain a stronger pace on the hills to pass them but then couldn't follow through, so fell to 13th over the last 2k. I wasn't more than 20m behind 12th, but just couldn't catch him. Gutted that I didn't manage to get in under 40 minutes though. But, on the other hand, I'm really glad that my back and right shin held out as well as they did. My back was a bit sore after about 8k, but I managed to use the guy in 12th to keep my pace.

Jeremy Pridmore Completed a 2.00 mi. running activity
I first did a warm up loop in 5:38, 400m recovery, then did a second loop faster in 5:27. Just wanted to see how my back would hold up prior to the Sittingbourne 10k.

Good run. Back is sore now though. Legs were fine. Had slightly numb feet too on the first half, but they seemed to sort themselves out. Was hotter than I expected and I didn't take a drink. I think I tackled the hills well and stayed strong until the end. Had a really good sprint down Gravel hill and carried it pretty much all the way through to the end. Wow. A 6:44 pace. That's a surprise. I'll be happy if I do that well this weekend in the Invicta 10K. :)

Jeremy Pridmore Completed a 0.06 mi. running activity
Ran 1st leg of 100m as part of DH's A team at SCVAL in Canterbury. I was a priviledge to be asked to run as part of that team. They are strong runners and I'm glad I had the opportunity to be part of the winning team. I think I started strong. I was ahead of the people either side of me and had a good hand over. Great fun as well.
