Martin Dolezal Completed a 13.07 km. running activity and made progress towards these goals:
It's been a long time since I ran in the morning last time. Weather was much better, air fresh, at least during first hour before temperature started to rise. My goal was to run something between 10 and 15 km - so 13 km is success. Second goal was to run in avg. pace 6:15, but during first walking break after 5 km avg pace dropped from 6:15 to 6:30 and I decided to keep it so (final avg pace 6:28 min/km according to Garmin). http://connect.garmin.com/activity/181769034

Martin Dolezal Completed a 5.16 km. running activity and made progress towards these goals:
I was well rested and prepared for a longer run in 6:30 min/km pace but somehow I was not in a right mood today so I decided to go home. I will try again on Friday and to enjoy the run.

John Meijberg  Well, it's exactly 6:30 :-) Good run.
Martin Dolezal  I had problems with 6:30, I was too fast - to be too fast means to fail in Half-Marathon. But yeah, it is funny, I had some breaks later and the final avg. pace is exactly 6:30 :-D Bad luck I was not motivated enough to run the full planned distance. But now I am already looking forward to Friday for my next run!
Lianne Warnell  i know what you mean, sometimes you go out and it just doesn't happen so no point carrying on..no idea why it happens but still a great run....we all have bad days, just makes us better for the next one :)
Martin Dolezal Completed a 10.18 km. running activity and made progress towards these goals:
Another slow-paced 10K, fine run, I enjoyed it. My heart rate was quite high, but it is very high even while sitting on my chair at home ;-) connect.garmin.com/activity/179438370 My next HM race is in 5 weeks so I am going to increase my workouts distance during next weeks to be prepared for this 3rd HM challenge. This is my priority number one now. After the HM race I will probably try to achieve my personal 5K and 10K goals.

John Meijberg  Good run. Fast pace. Nice recovery during walk breaks.
Tom Z  Your slow-paced runs are much faster than my fast-pace! Glad to see you are doing so well and apologies for not being around much the last month or so. :)
Martin Dolezal  Thanks Tom! Don't worry - when checking my avg. pace now I can say that this was a fast-paced race for me too, I am not so fast usually for 10K. My first description was influenced by my feeling from the run - I had no problems during workout and so I felt I am slow - just to enjoy the run without any big effort. Running just to run... not running to break some records... ;-) Don't worry for not being around last month, the most important thing is that now you are here :-)
Martin Dolezal Completed a 6.73 km. running activity and made progress towards these goals:
Little experiment today, shorter run. I tried to keep 5:30 min/km pace as long as possible (my target pace for 10K this year and dream pace for HM in 2032 ;-)). My estimation was 5K and I was right. After 5K I had a slow walking break and then I returned home in cool-down pace. http://connect.garmin.com/activity/178482520

Martin Dolezal  Thank you both. Unfortunately there is still no way to define time goals for some distance in RunKeeper (there are already suggestions for this feature in support base). You can define goals like "run X km long workout", "finish the race" (very stupidly programmed to be completed at midnight of the race day, not after uploading the race workout), "achieve total distance", but one of the most important (maybe the most important one) is missing - "to run X km race under X minutes". My goals for 2012 are to run 5K under 25 minutes, 10K under 55 minutes and HM under 2:15 (June race).
John Geraghty  RK has nice ideas but they are implemented poorly. The team / person that created the original site clear is not there and the new team of programmer don't even realize all the functionality that existed. I started to see that the goals were automatically "ACCOMPLISHED" even if you didn't complete the race. Therefore I DELETED by goal to run 80 miles in the month of April on 4/29 when I only did 50 miles for the month as I know I MISSED THE GOAL.
Martin Dolezal Completed a 10.15 km. running activity and made progress towards these goals:
Unfortunately it was raining in the morning so I had to skip the planned 10K race, it is shame that the weather was so bad. Now it is evening here, it is not raining so I tried my own unofficial 10K. Without rain this colder weather is great, I made 10 km in about 59 minutes. I had more walking breaks than usually but much faster running pace.

John Meijberg  Good decision and great pace in this run. Well done.
John Geraghty  Great job, I know it wouldn't take you long to get back to sub 60 mins 10k. Smart decision to skip the rain in the morning.

Slow slow slow. I remember running 10K under 1 hour without problems last year. Now it is so hard to beat 65 minutes. http://connect.garmin.com/activity/176479993

Martin Dolezal  I need to eat less to lose some weight :-) And I probably also need a strict schedule. I am not going to pay for FitnessClass as I am not satisfied with new features and solving of old problems. But I could probably create some kind of my own Workout Plan with help of FitnessClasses or even maybe similar plans from Adidas miCoach or something like that, where you can select the race day, race type, number of workout days and it will generate the appropriate plan. Something like that could help.
Martin Dolezal  If you are interested, this is for example how you create your personal plan in adidas miCoach. For free! Compare with RK. John Geraghty  Thanks for the screen shots - this looks like a nice way to create a workout plan. I'm going to create my own runs for the next few weeks 3 weekday runs and no weekends (time with family). Also - you will get back to 10k in 60min. You had a big base of running in the 5k30min class last year so if a few weeks on consistent running you'll be at your goal again.

Martin Dolezal  I am sad, but I had to cancel my race. It is raining a lot and I am not going to be ill next week again. I don't like this weather change, I was finally decided to go to race, I am currently prepared, dressed for race, but it starts in 5 minutes and I stayed at home, I am not sure how many people will attend now. Maybe I will try next year, start is so close from my home and it is only 10K. Temperature suddenly dropped from 30 Celsius yesterday to 12 Celsius today - huge change but OK for me, better for running. But it is raining. Maybe I am coward but I want to be fit to train for my HM race in June. That's it, sorry ;-)
John Geraghty  Smart decision.

John Geraghty  Nice pictures. The best was the black and white on the large rock with the clouds. I remember you used to have a camera as your profile and you really do take great pictures.

Short run because of storm. My original plan was 10K or something like that. I was fast enough not to become wet too much ;-) http://connect.garmin.com/activity/174944496
