Back pain remains prevalent, however, I am able to jog more today than yesterday. The timer here is off-it's taking a while for the GPS to activate even though the sky is clear. That's not what's important here so long as I continue to show up.

I made it happen today. I had a not so great weekend of food intake and I definitely feel it in my lower back. All I know to do is keep pushing ahead even though I can't necessarily see what lies ahead, I know in my heart that there is only good that will come from all of this.

It's like walking through a valley of shadows, know soon that the pain is about to set in all over again. You guessed it, my lower back was hurting. However, I have stored away the memory that this is the path that leads me to weight loss and being a better me. I jogged more today than yesterday, but the timer on this program is off. The distance is off by about a half mile or so. Actually, my distance was quite similar to yesterday. This isn't a perfect measurement, but just being able to keep track of what I do is good enough. Now on with the rest of my day....

This is the farthest I have travelled out to exercise in a couple of months. Of course my lower back is killing me, but the satisfaction of standing up to the challenge far outweigh any pain I am in. Now for the rest of the day and my biggest challenge: the food I put in my body. I am now convinced that 80% of healthy weight loss is what you eat. Over the years I have treated exercise like a pass to gorge myself with food. Now that I know better, it's time for me to do better!

Went nonstop for the first time in three days...this program was acting weird and didn't capture my first lap-still though,my back hurt at a place where I could tolerate more. I ran 75-90 yards a couple of times and walked backwards at about the same distance as well. I didn't want to do it but I'm glad I did!
