Completed different warm up techniques: 3-3 breathing for .5 mile - see Tempo Runs below Do all below for 50 Ft. Fast Feet Walk on toes Walk on heals Knee Walk Skip Tempo Runs - 440 - 1 track lap 3-3 breathing: 3 steps for breathing in and 3 steps for beathing out. Slow running. Run long time without stopping. Very aerobic 2-3 or 3-2: 2 steps breath in and 3 steps out. Less aerobic. Race Pace approaching Anaerobic threashold 2-2: Beyond race pace and above Aerobic. 15 minutes max at breath rate 1-2/1-1: Anaerobic. 5 minute max at breath rate Stride Rate: Count right leg strike for 60 seconds. I measured between 75 to 82. Need to work on upping this to 95. Work on drills for each run by shortening stride. Increasing SR will eventually translate to faster speed.
