Today, my goal was to try a variation on my gait as recommended by my physical therapist. I had a gait analysis done today and 2 things were found: First, I twist my torso to the left as my right arm comes up and slightly across my body. This is causing my right leg to slightly cross over as well. Second, she recommended I focus on "making circles" with my foot--think roadrunner. Doing both of these resulted in a faster than intended pace as well as faster than expected fatigue because my hamstrings were put to more work than usual. Good run for an 87 degree evening.
