How's the weather down there? The Napier waterfront seems like it would be a lovely spot for a run on a sunny day. Good work on sticking to your training while on holiday too :)

Hi Connie thanks :), It's so beautiful at the moment not a cloud in the sky, we've decided to stay another day to explore. The track is great I'm a day or two behind in my training but will do my best to run on the days I can so I dont fall too far out. Nice job on your -4min/k pace :) I can't imagine doing 1k tha fast :)

Sounds nice down there, I don't think I've ever witnessed a cloudy day when I've been in Napier or Hastings. And thanks - not too long ago I wouldn't have been able to imagine hitting a pace like that either, it's amazing what a bit of dedicated training can achieve :)

Hi Abby! Thanks for adding me to your Street Team ... I have a cousin in New Zealand at the moment ... looks like a beautiful part of the world.

Must be a good trip ... judging by the lack of runs :)

haha it was, and now out of commission for 2 weeks. Ankle is taped just been to physio cause it got intolerable this afternoon when I used it to pivot out of my car :(
You going alright these days?

Oh dear. What have you done? I'm fine ... I've learnt the hard way to pay attention to every little 'niggle' and pain.

Not sure, it hurts to walk on it unless I use my heel to weight bear. Physio said sprain so I guess thats it. I should probably have gotten treatment sooner but it was good some days so just figured it would come right.

Bugger. Sounds like you need to run more to strengthen your ankles ;)

A sprain ... that could take a while to come right. So it will be cross training for a while, will it?

I'm thinking of getting a bike. Have another session tomorrow with physio so will go into it then...
