You should edit this run on RK website and list it as part of the HM class. How do you feel? This run looks nice and smooth running pace.

Took me a little while to get back here to edit. I used the iSmoothRun app today for the first time, and it doesn't send directly to the Fitness Class. App works pretty well. I particularly like the coaching to keep me on my desired pace. Unfortunately it was my first time running with my new iPhone instead of my old Droid, and I don't think the GPS works nearly as well. It seemed to be much more erratic, as indicated by the map.
The run itself was great!! I felt wonderful throughout thr entire run until the very last 0.50-mi segment when my legs started to tell me they didn't want to work as well anymore. I was able to push through and run to completion though, and for that, I was proud of myself! My hips have gotten a bit sore throughout the day but I don't think that's necessarily unexpected. Really pleased today though and feeling good!

Looking at my pace graph above, I can really tell the GPS on my iPhone is all over the place. I wanted to try the Runkeeper Live feature, but I'm so disappointed by the GPS performance, I may just go back to using my Droid and forgetting about using the RK Live aspect, which, of course, requires a live Internet connection.

I've seen many people complain about the iPhone GPS. The RK iphone app is OK and links to fitness classes. I'll try iSR one more time but due to not linking/ about to download RK class I'm going to go back to RK app with 1 min audio clues of pace.

Your pace chart, though, looks great. I kind of having a feeling it has something to do with the proximity sensor and using Auto-Pause. I'm going to try next time with those settings turned off and see if that helps. If not, I'm going to try using the RK iPhone app to see if the graph looks any different and a bit more consistent.

Hi, just came here from the support discussion on 4S GPS issues. The jagged pattern is characteristic of the 4S and the verizon 4. Although most of the time is not so severe.
Regarding the fitness classes we are waiting for RK to support them through the Health Graph API.

Thanks, iSR, for taking a look at this. I'm really disappointed with the way the phone is handling the GPS and decided I will probably not continue to use it because I just don't think it's reliable and useful. It only takes a few seconds to reactivate my old Droid Incredible, which has laser-sharp GPS accuracty, and that will then allow me to continue to utilize the Runkeeper Live function. I hope Apple is able to push out a software fix for the GPS bug and it isn't something more hardware related that can't really be fixed without buying a new phone.
