Elizabeth Sanger  I did a little of both. I was off pace today for some reason. I was walking for two minutes and then running.

Sergio  I'm tempted. My actual routine is based in the "basis training" in the "Book on Running". My intention was prepare for a 25min 5km program. However this work fit the fifth week of the 2h20min half marathon program.. I don't know how far I can push the long runs. Now I'm running in diferent places, tracks in the woods most, beaches, it's is fun, but demand time. My wife usually run with me and already start to ask how far I intend to go :-)
Elizabeth Sanger  When and if you are ready to run a half-marathon you will. Don't push it. Just enjoy the running. My husband is going to start running with me but I know he won't be interested in a long run either. :-) It's a good idea to run different terrains as you are. However, I would have to drive a few hundred miles to run on a beach.

Sergio  I want to say: "Book on Running"
Elizabeth Sanger  I will have to read that. Thank you. I took his training program Walk Run for Half Marathon through RunKeeper. That is how I trained for this. Great program. It's all one foot in front of the other. I'm sure if you wanted to run one, you could do it. I never thought I would have even attempted to run a 5K let alone a Half-Marathon.
