One of the most emotional 5k races out there. It starts from the Brooklyn side of the Battery Tunnel, through the tunnel which is never ending, and coming out on the Manhattan side where you are met up by the faces of the 343 NYC Firefighters that died on 9/11. It rips at your heart, but it is so worth it.
