Just a quick update on the Boston Marathon Sweepstakes.
We've raised almost $4,000 USD so far! Good start, but we have a lot of work to do to get to our $20,000 USD goal! We have some amazing prizes this year, so we put together this video to help educate people on what they can win!

We are excited to announce that we are kicking off the first leg of our 2010 Boston Marathon campaign---the RunKeeper Boston Marathon Sweepstakes!
I'm sure many of you remember our antics at the Boston Marathon last year. We partnered with a team of college students from Emerson College, put together a series of funny videos leading up to the race and I ran the entire marathon dressed as a giant iPhone with RunKeeper on the screen. This little campaign was met with quite a bit of media attention, with articles in NY Times, Xconomy here and here, PRWeek, and many others.
Well, we decided to team up with some students from Emerson College again this year to double down and try to go even bigger. We are hard at work on a marketing campaign that will be a lot of fun to put together, and we hope even more fun to watch! More details will follow as we get closer to the race, which is April 19, 2010.
As part of the race, I am running on behalf of the American Liver Foundation, and my colleague Aaron White is running on behalf of Grateful Nation. We are seeking to raise a combined $20,000 USD for these wonderful charities.
We've also added a new twist this year: For every $10 USD that you donate through either of these links, you will receive one entry in the RunKeeper Boston Marathon Sweepstakes! (So, if you donate $20 USD you get 2 entries, $40 USD you get 4 entries, and so on).

The RunKeeper Boston Marathon Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time ("EST") on February 24, 2010 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. EST on April 18, 2010. The promotion periods described immediately above is collectively referred to herein as the "Sweepstakes Period". The Sweepstakes is sponsored by FitnessKeeper, Inc. ("Sponsor").

Prizes will be awarded provided they are claimed properly in accordance with these Sweepstakes Rules. No transfer or cash redemption of any prize is allowed. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize for one of equal or greater value if prize becomes unavailable. Each prize winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and, where legal, at Sponsor‘s election, a Publicity Release, within two (2) days of the date of the prize notification.
