As most of you know, Apple does not allow 3rd party applications to run in the background. This means if you exit RunKeeper for any reason, including answering the phone, we are required to pause. But, what you may not know is that after you answer the phone, you can immediately hit the home button, re-open RunKeeper, and resume tracking while you are talking!
In other words, RunKeeper can not run in the background, but your phone call can. I hope that is helpful!

You just have to remember to hit the ‘Resume’ button, I learned this the hard way after a few calls

Oh, that makes sense but I never even though about it! Thanks for the tip!
Personally I just don’t answer as I couldn’t speak out of breath anyway
Thanks! I’m a new user and that makes total sense, but I wouldn’t have thought of it.
Could’a used that tip about 2 hours ago!
Beautiful product, very appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks for the advice of simultinious use of phone and runkeeper. Veeery handy.
By the way. It is a fantastic program with great launch and very customer orientated, rather then money driven.
I am inpressed that I am not “forced” by various nuisence messages etc to purchase a better product. I guess it is because you product is so good that it self itself, without the need of being tricky and sleazy.
I do not think I ever paid for any aplication, however your free version was so good, that I decided to get the yearly report option and the pro version as well. I did not really care what i get for my money because I knew that I already got for free whats worth more then the upgrade itself.
keep it up.
